Plaza Contenta is a mixed use, neighborhood development, comprised of restaurants, shops, office, grocery and 61 second story residential "loft style" units, all organized around a City Plaza and park.  Located in the 7.2 acre space formed inside Jaguar Drive, Avenida Contenta and Paseo del Sol, Plaza Contenta is in the heart of Tierra Contenta and is designed to provide the commercial and civic life for the Southside of Santa Fe.

There are a few "Basic Truths" that we can all agree on and one is that life can seem to be not worth living until you have had that first cup of coffee...and don't you want to have it close to home, among friends.  And isn't it the same about a haircut.  I remember walking to the neighborhood shop, hanging around with people I had known for years and on occasion actually getting a haircut.  Or going to the neighborhood park to play basketball... or walking after school to get a soda... or watching a neighborhood event... or walking to the convenience store for those things you forgot on the Big Shop.  These are the things that make life fun... and come to find out healthy (since you walk); environmentally  sustainable (since you walk); and community oriented (since you talk to your neighbors after you walk).  This is the underlying principle of Plaza Contenta...that it is better to walk to get a cup of coffee than to drive...and that goes even more so for a beer.
